Your Summer Program Guide has arrived!

It's here! This Summer Program Guide is filled with a wide range of ticketed, drop-in and registered programs and events. With early literacy programs for Babies, Toddlers & Preschool, adventure programs for Kids, Tweens & Teens, and thought-provoking and art-inspired programs and events for Adults, there is something for everyone. 
Mark your calendar! Online registration begins Saturday, June 13 at 10:00 AM.

Celebrate Pride Month with reading suggestions, resources and more with a sample from our staff picks: That's What Friends are For, Stella Brings the Family, Is This a Cry for Help?, Circle of Love, and Almost Life.

Seniors Month
June is Seniors Month across Ontario, a time to celebrate the contributions of older adults and support their wellbeing. We have many registered and drop-in programs designed specifically for 55+ Adults. Our Visiting Books service provides delivery every two weeks to library members living within Brant County.
 
Our Seniors' Outdoor Games happens on June 17 at Burford Lion Art Cadman Park in Burford. This outdoor event will feature yard games from our Gear & Gadgets collection, delighful conversation, and refreshments. Skills not required; fun guaranteed!

Indigenous History Month

Rainbow Cookie Bake Collection: Pride Baking Day (live virtual event)
Register for our Rainbow Cookie Bake Collection: Pride Baking Day live class via Zoom to bake together. A week before, you'll receive the recipe. Gather your equipment the day of the lesson and bake right in your home! We’ll share community resources, tips on being an ally, and fun book recommendations that celebrate diversity and inclusion. A welcoming hands-on program for all ages and skill levels.

Bees & Blooms: Pollinator Week Planting Program
Register your spot for Bees & Blooms—an opportuinty to learn from others to identify pollinators such as hummingbirds, bees and butterflies, discover native plants, and get your hands dirty while creating special garden area for all in the community to enjoy. All experience levels welcome.

Creative Cafe
Register your spot for Creative Cafe—an art-filled experience in August that welcomes members of all ages to learn from local older adult artists, enjoy live demos and interactive activities, all while connecting across generations.

Foster a joy of reading in your little one. Get started with our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, dip into our collection of Yoto card packs that let kids explore their imaginations as they explore the world, and discover a new summer program.
